The 2008 Tryouts for Mehlville High School are
over. I have again been selected as starting catcher
for the JV team. Originally I was listed on the
Varsity & JV rosters, but The Mehlville coaching
staff has decided to start bringing teams up in their
age bracket in order to build for the future and I completely
agree with this move. With an already wet start to
Spring, we may struggle to play as many games as we
played last year as our first 3 games were already
rained out. I have decided to play for The Johnny Mac Thunder 16U for the 2008
Spring season since most of the infield is on my
high school team and I feel this will only help my
high school team be stronger next year.
